Round, double-walled storage container, handmade from natural birch bark. Rustic design with almost unprocessed white bark outside, with remnants of moss, etc. Inside with smooth bark. Suitable for use with food. Dimensions of the can: approx. 18 cm high, ø approx. 13 cm.
Birch bark is a material with very special properties. On the one hand, the bark protects the tree from drying out; on the other hand, the essential oils it contains protect from mold. The peoples of Scandinavia, Russia and Canada have made use of this knowledge since ancient times. Valuable supplies and daily bread were stored in self-made containers made of natural birch bark.
