Hand-forged scissors based on finds from the Viking Age with omega-shaped bow and round forged handle. This type of scissors has been around since the Iron Age. They were also common among the Celts and Romans. Such scissors were also used throughout the Middle Ages and into the 18th century. Iron, approx. 14 cm long, width of the bow approx. 12 mm, cutting length approx. 5 cm.
