Small Viking horseshoe brooch, brass, diameter approx. 2.4 cm. Simple ring brooches of this type can be found in many Viking settlement areas. This kind occurs from the 9th to the beginning of the 12th century. Well suited as a collar closure or in pairs as fasteners for leg wraps.
