Care instructions:
This wooden spoon was made from european cherry wood and then oiled. Cherry wood develops its characteristic reddish color through the oiling and the pronounced grain comes into its own even more clearly. Among other things, very high-quality kitchen utensils such as this spoon are made from the wood of the cherry tree. Notes: Please clean the item thoroughly before using it for the first time and only expose it to high temperatures, direct sunlight or liquids for a short time (e.g. do not put it in a dishwasher). This spoon is delivered oiled. Therefore, please avoid contact with sensitive surfaces.
So that you can enjoy this product for a long time, please note the following: if the oiling deteriorates through use and cleaning, rub the item with hot vegetable oil (tasteless) or paraffin oil (medical white oil, paraffinum (per) liquidum). Let it soak in overnight and rub off any excess oil. Repeat this treatment regularly in the future. Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason, do not leave the article in water for a long time, but clean all sides with warm water and possibly a little scouring powder for thorough cleaning. Then let it air dry.
