2 pieces of natural-colored cords / ribbons with brass lace chapes / aiglets. Laces braided from 100% cotton. Length with tips approx. 40 cm. Diameter of tips approx. 5 mm. In the Middle Ages, cords like that were used to fasten items of clothing such as doublets, trousers and dresses. They were also used to "attach" sleeves and trousers. Doublets and trousers were also often connected by cords.
Cords with aiglets were mainly used from the 14th to the 16th century.
