This particular piece is a replica of a figurine found in Lejre, Zealand, Denmark. The original is dated to 800-1050 and is now on display in the Roskilde Museum. The figure is interpreted either as a representation of Odin with the ravens Hugin and Munin, or because of the more feminine clothing as a so-called Völva - a Nordic seer/sorceress. Here the birds on the left and right could be seen as a connection to Odin.
Bronze, approx. 2 x 2.1 x 1.2 cm. With eyelet for leather strap or chain on the back.
